This project was carried out at an early planning enquiry stage for a bid to purchase the site from the local authority.
The client's brief was to create modern family homes with some unique design features including; use of roof glazing, open stairs and raised dining areas.
The site lent itself to containing 2 three bedroomed houses and 3 two bedroomed houses. This filled the site to it's maximum whilst still giving large gardens which is sometimes uncommon in new housing developments.
The material palette for the project was again kept minimal with white render external walls and natural slate roof tiles. This allowed the new development to tie into the existing neighbourhood whilst still giving a modern fee to the new estate.
