Peacock Farm, Lochwinnoch
Our brief for this project was to convert an existing farm out-building and link it into the existing farm cottage to extend the family home.
The external material choice for the link was the challenge for this project due to the concerns of the local planning authority.
Natural Stone and slate made a feature of the design and contrasts well with the new slate roofs and white render finish of the existing buildings.
The internal layout of the link is open plan and the use of stone internally links external traditional appearance into the modern interior of the home.
